    Mission Statement

    “Our mission is to cultivate and advance the social and economic development of women in and around our community.”

    Aims

    1. To develop a ‘flagship’ centre for the women of Rhyl and North Wales - which is effective, valued and sustainable.

    2. To provide a safe place for the multi service provision of information, support, advocacy, training and referral on issues relating to work, health and wellbeing.

    Objectives

    1. To provide a safe place where women can meet.

    2. To provide information & support, on issues relating to women.

    3. To provide information and activities for improved health and well being.

    4. To provide counselling and referrals for women suffering abuse and associated issues.

    5. To provide training in skills for social and economic development of women.

    6. To promote and be part of the integration of mental health services for women.

    7. To promote and draw on the rich diversity of older women’s experience.

    8. To organise events which debate, highlight and inform the community on women’s issues and concerns.

    9. To develop potential income generating activities into workable social enterprise projects in order to sustain the centre.
